Road Race – 2023
Enter NowPoints are awarded for the best 17 performances over the 18 race season. The final presentation event is not included in the points allocation.
Each grade has its own points competition, with points awarded as follows:
First | 6 points |
Second | 4 points |
Third | 2 points |
Starting | 5 points |
Riders promoted to a higher grade lose half their points to a maximum of 1 point below third place in the gaining Grade. Demoted riders take all their points with them.
Riders must hold a current AVCC license. Non-Member Entry riders are to be listed to a team. Trial riders do not score points until they join.
Points competition medals are awarded for the best performed team in each grade, based on the aggregate points of all team members. All team riders are required to wear only approved team kit and managers are required to submit an image of the team kit at the start of the season. All team riders must wear the same team kit. Team riders who are not dressed in the approved team kit will not accrue team points.
Team Road Race Season Prize Money: First Team $1,000. Second Team $600. Third Team $400.
Teams are to have a minimum of 4 riders to a maximum of 10 riders. If more than 10 riders are nominated, a second team is to be formed between team members.
The points for the Team Awards are as follows: (UCI) 5,3,2,1 per race, across all grades in 16 out of the 18 proposed races for the Road Season (not counting the Age Group Championship and last race of the season).
If you are a member of a team, please ensure your team manager has you listed with the same details you have on your Entry Boss profile, and the spelling of your name on your profile matches your racing license.
* Warning * – Non-Member Entry riders and WCMCC riders who already have an AusCycle EntryBoss account profile, you will need to set up another profile/or swap profiles for West Coast Masters EntryBoss races, otherwise your entry money will go to your AusCycle Club and not to us. You will not be covered by insurance whilst competing in our race because of it!
The WCMCC State Masters Road Race Championship awards medals in five-year age divisions. Two or more divisions may be combined into one race (this will not affect the awarding of medals).
The 2023 Road Race Championship is in the race calendar. Members enter online through the usual process.
